Sculptor Danielle Anjou makes International Art history at The Louvre
Danielle Anjou was chosen as the first American figurative sculptor to represent the United States
at the prestigious Societe Nationale des Beaux-Arts at the Louvre in Paris.
Anjou’s sculpture, ‘The Diver’ was selected by the SNBA to be the first
American figurative sculpture shown at the renowned exhibit.
This is a unique honor, as the United States has never been represented in the over
one hundred years that the Societe Nationale des Beaux-Arts has been in existence.
